From Lviv to Kiev. I have been to Ukraine a few times before visiting my grandfather when I was around 5 years old. It was still USSR back then, before the 1991. I know that we flew to Kiev and then drove for a long time towards Kremenchuk where I spent few summers with my family. I don't have any recollection of any cities in Ukraine, but I have vivid memories from those trips and remember a lot from staying with my grandfather at his family house
I was actually really looking forward to this trip and was curios about Kiev. In reality it turned out to be the city where you really need to know somebody to take you around and show you places. It's not the most impressive experience to walk it alone. For the first half a day I have been there I didn't really understand it, only after I met up with some locals that took me around my impression of it slowly changed. It's also a little hard to photograph it, as everything is just too big and would be better with zoom lens rather than with 28mm wide angle I had with me and a 50mm.
