Not long ago I've been going through my Lightroom library in search of some old photos and noticed that I have a lot of pictures of airplanes in different locations. I collected them together and made a separate post here in by blog "Aircrafts Spotting".
I got an early access to the feature and could not wait to play with it. To have some assets to play with and to set the theme I decided to use aircraft photos I mentioned above.
So here you go, check out the RM animation test in this AIRCRAFTS MAG.
As you can notice I spent most of my time animating the type setting on the main screen. It's actually a lot of fun. Think of Keynote animations, but done in the browser with instant preview.
Below is just a GIF image I posted on Dribble.
The main cover type is based on Bigfoot font.
Screenshots of cover page animations set in ReadyMag. You can control each objects movement individually as well as set delays when you want them being animated.

Nothing crazy for actual photos design. Simple typography with plane information, airline and location. I used hotspots to mention where and how each photo was captured.
For each aircraft I had photo of I cad to do some research and create a vector icon. The important thing here was to keep size relations fairly accurate.
