Santa Teresa is a small town on the coast of Pacific Ocean in Puntarenas Province, Costa Rica. It's long beach and constant waves of different sizes made it one of the surf meccas in Costa Rica. Pretty much everyone who stays in this town as a visitor come here to surf. It's super relaxed, with a lot of cafes and little places to eat, surf shops and rentals and a nice long beach.
The moment we arrived to Santa Teresa the sun started to set. It was one of the craziest sunsets I have seen in my life. Due to the ocean and it's low/high tides, a massive surface of the sand was covered in thin layer of water acting like a mirror, reflecting everything that was happening with the sky.
And the best part of the sunset is when the sun actually disappears behind the horizon and starts to light up the sky. Going from purple to neon red and then into darker colors until it gets all black.
